About the Conference Organizers:

The Open Source Lab (OSL) is located at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. Its purpose is to help accelerate the adoption of open source software across the globe and aid the community that develops and uses it. The OSL's talented team of students and full-time staff do this by focusing on OSS software development and hosting the world's largest non-for-profit open source projects. Production of GOSCON is an extension of the OSL mission to educate, support and create community around Open Source. Oregon State University is a comprehensive, public research university and a member of the Oregon University System.
