The Open Source Lab (OSL) is located at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. Its purpose is to help accelerate the adoption of open source software across the globe and aid the community that develops and uses it. The OSL's talented team of students and full-time staff do this by focusing on software development as well as hosting the world's largest non-for-profit open source projects. Production of GOSCON 07 is an extension of the OSL mission to educate, support and create community around Open Source.
