Tim Bertrand

Tim Bertrand recently joined the Drupal community, and now works with various Drupal services providers and early adopters of Drupal in Federal government. He is working with members of the Drupal community in Government and their service providers to drive adoption of Drupal from small projects to major Federal department initiatives. Tim is an advisor to Acquia - the Professional Open Source company, supporting Drupal.

Tim currently leads OpenSpan, Inc.'s worldwide channels organization including managing the company's ISV/OEM, Reseller and System Integration relationships. Prior to joining OpenSpan, Tim served in various enterprise sales capacities at Systinet Corporation, which was acquired by Mercury Interactive in January of 2006. While at Systinet, Tim was responsible for closing all of the company's early Enterprise deals and ISV/OEM deals as well as for building and managing the company's Government practice, which generated over 60% of the company's revenue. Prior to joining Systinet, Tim ran Business Development for Cape Clear Software and held the position of Enterprise Account Manager for SilverStream Software, which was acquired by Novell in 2002. Tim holds a degree with honors from Bryant University.
