Nancy E. Anthracite, M.D.

Nancy is a Graduate of Boston University School of Medicine's 6 year medical program, Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. She has had varying experience including academic medicine as the former third year medical clerkship director for the Department of Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, private practice in the Florida panhandle and more than 14 years in occupational medicine in the Washington DC area, most recently seeing patients at the Department of Veterans Affairs Central Office. She has been supportive of WorldVistA since its inception and joined the management team as CMO in April of 2007. She became president in August of 2009. One of her favorite activities is helping "newbies" get started with VistA, but she is involved with many projects with the VistA community and within WorldVistA.
