John Keese

John Keese is the President of Autonomic Resources. Autonomic Resources is a Federal Systems integration firm focusing on information assurance, encryption and protection, and emerging technology insertion, deployment and sustainment. Within this role, some of his key areas of responsibility include Business Development, Operations and setting the technology roadmap for the firm’s services and product selection. John is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Open Source Software Institute, whose charter is the adoption of commercial open source technologies with the Federal government. This chairmanship has John involved with several Federal open source initiatives including Homeland Open Security Technology (DHS), Open Source Corporate Management Information System Security (DISA), as well as several other open source initiatives within the Federal government. 

John has also focused on bringing emerging Commercial Open Source technologies firms, who have not had effective avenues in place to present their technologies to the Federal, State and Local government markets. These technology companies work through Autonomic Resources’ extensive GSA schedules and complimentary professional services.  John brings his extensive customer and technology-focused experience to bear in founding Autonomic Resources. Prior to founding the company, he was the Senior Business Development Manager for Consilium1, a large commercial technology services firm. John also has a long history of technology implementation and direction setting coming from his position as the Corporate Information Director for a large regional security firm in the New York.

John holds a Bachelors of Science with a Major in Economics and Minor in Computer Science from the State University of New York College at Brockport. John is also actively involved in community outreach projects in the Raleigh, NC area including homeless prevention and youth outreach mission oriented programs. John is married with 3 children.
