Gyan P Saxena

Gyan has over 20 years experience in enterprise architecture, design, development and implementation of large software application in the Health Care industry. He was a key member of the IT team for the implementation of Epic Electronic Medical Records System at Kaiser Permanente. The project was the largest health care automation project in private sector. Gyan has worked in many other HealthCare IT projects and is currently helping Kaiser Permanente as End to End Architect for a new strategic project.
With experience in wide span of technologies, legacy to latest cutting edge, Gyan has played Technical Management, Chief Architect and Strategic/Visionary roles in many projects and companies in last 20 years of his IT career; project at SunLife Assurance voted as one the ‘The Best Projects of the Year” by the British Computer Society. Gyan has guided DatamanUSA as a CIO/VP Strategy. DatamanUSA has been profiled in media and won many awards and was honored as Inc 500 Company in 2007 with the rank of 212.

Gyan has received a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Roorkee, in 1987 followed by a Master of Engineering from Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore in 1989. He lives in Denver, Colorado with his lovely wife Nidhi, a 11 year old daughter Sanskriti and a 6 year old son Sanskaar.
