Who do I call? Understanding the IT Ecosystem

The more you rely upon open source software, the more critical it becomes to understand how that software is supported.  Panelists will discuss the open source model, and how commercial software entities provide support to software produced in that model.

About the speakers:

Greg DeKoenigsberg is a senior community catalyst for Red Hat. The community architecture team is responsible for Red Hat's strategy for building vibrant open source communities, and for aligning Red Hat's community policies with its business objectives. Greg is the founding chairman emeritus of the Fedora Project Board, which is the ultimate decision making authority for the Fedora Project. He has been with Red Hat since 2001.

Tim Bertrand recently joined the Drupal community, and now works with over a hundred different Drupal services providers and early adopters of Drupal in Federal government. He is working with members of the Drupal community in Government and their service providers to drive adoption of Drupal from small projects to major Federal department initiatives.  Tim is employed by Acquia - the Professional Open Source company, supporting Drupal.
