Open source technology offers its users the technical and financial
flexibility not available within the constraints of closed alternatives.
Open source technology requires more open and innovative approaches
throughout the system life cycle.  This presentation will focus on the
financial, technological, and social aspects of an organization's
evolving role in the broader open source technology ecosystem to include
consumer, patron, contributor, and participant.  Each of these four
roles requires a different level of organizational readiness and
interaction.
