Open Source Middleware
Middleware is often the secret sauce that makes or breaks your project. By definition java based middleware is interoperable, so what value does open source middleware bring to large government programs? About the Speakers:
Mr. Henley is the Enterprise Data Solutions Practice Lead for Amentra, Inc., a Red Hat Company, focused on delivering enterprise data warehouse, business intelligence, and SOA solutions to Federal, State, and Local organizations. Mr. Henley has an extensive and diverse background working with both Government and Commercial organizations and has a proven track record in helping customers get value and intelligence from enterprise data assets.
Mr. Loeffler has 15 years business development expertise in the US and Internationally and is a member of the Advisory Council of the Open Source Software Institute (OSSI).
Richard Im is Alfresco's Channel Solutions Engineer for the Americas. He has over 6 years of Technology experience, and 1.5 years with Alfresco. Responsible to ensure the Alfresco Channels have the capability to manage opportunities and drive successful implementations for customers.
Michael Howard is the Director of Open Systems Architecture for QinetiQ North America. He was formally the Command and Control (C2) Deputy Chief Engineer for SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic (SSC-LANT) where he oversaw system engineering and integration across C2 programs. He has been recognized for his efforts in Service Oriented Architectures (SOA), Master Data Management (MDM), System of Systems (SoS) Engineering, and SoS Integration. In his current position, he is responsible for transitioning C2 systems to Open Source Technologies and to a Service Oriented Environment. As one of the leading Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) authorities, he is currently leveraging an open source SOA approach as an enterprise integration enabler. Mr. Howard holds a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of South Carolina.
Mr. Gudepu is SOA Practice Lead for Amentra Inc, A Red Hat Company. Mr. Gudepu has extensive experience working with clients in both Government (Federal and State) and Commercial organizations where he has served as a SOA Subject Matter Expert helping deliver Enterprise SOA Solutions using Open Source Technologies.
